Fueling Freedom – Stories from the Frontlines of the Revolution

The revolution has many sounds. The hum of engines roaring through the streets, the chants of protesters echoing in the air, and the whispered prayers of hope exchanged under the cover of night. As Kenya’s fight for freedom intensify, the roads and internet streets became battlegrounds and lifelines. Fuel might be scarce because it is so expensive, but our resolve is not. Long lines at petrol stations became impromptu meeting points for revolutionaries. Strangers became allies as we shared stories, frustrations, and sometimes even the little fuel we could spare.
